Getting paid (Ambassadors)

The 30-day review, payouts, the €10 minimum and taxes.

From commission to payout

  1. Pending. Each commission stays pending for 30 days after we create it. During this review period, we check that the transfers behind it are valid.
  2. Ready for payout. After 30 days, the commission is ready for payout.
  3. Paid. impact.com, our payout partner, normally pays your ready commissions in its next payout cycle.

What you need for a payout

  • You have completed Tax and Payout in your portal, with your payout method and tax details. See Setting up your account.
  • You have confirmed your email with the code impact.com sends you.
  • Your ready balance is at least €10.

A balance under €10 rolls over to the next payout, so you do not lose it. impact.com may hold a payout until it has everything it needs, such as an identity check or a tax form. If something is missing, you see a message on your Dashboard.

Payout method and schedule

You choose how and when you are paid in Tax and Payout:

  • Method: bank transfer or PayPal, depending on your country. The form shows any fee before you confirm. For example, PayPal charges a 2% processing fee, up to a set maximum.
  • Schedule: once your balance reaches an amount you choose, or on a fixed day of the month (the 1st or the 15th).

If you change your payout details, impact.com checks the change first. Your payouts can be on hold for up to 48 hours, and payments scheduled in that time are skipped.

Currency and invoices

Commissions are in euros. If you choose another payout currency, impact.com converts the amount. Any conversion cost, and any fee your bank or payout provider charges you, is between you and them.

You do not need to send us an invoice.

Taxes

You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax on your commissions in your country. impact.com collects the tax forms it needs before it releases payouts. For example, US persons must submit a W-9 form once their total payouts reach US$2,000, and others may be asked for a W-8 form.

Note: We cannot give tax advice. If you are not sure what applies to you, ask a tax advisor in your country.

Reversals and corrections

During the 30-day review, we may reduce or cancel a commission, up to its full amount, if:

  • the transfers behind it are canceled, refunded or found invalid;
  • the business ends its partnership with us;
  • the referral does not qualify, or we created the commission by mistake, for example with the wrong cluster;
  • the commission comes from a breach of the Program Terms.

After the review period ends, we do not reduce or cancel a commission, unless it came from fraud or a breach of the Program Terms. If we find that we owe you more than we created, we add the difference to your commissions.
